Talking about it isn’t always the best option we discovered in our own relationship. We often get too much into our rational minds and can easily start the blame game.
We believe that bringing the bodies together is usually way more effective.
It can be as simple as giving each other a long hug. This will allow the bodies to defrost and soften and the nervous systems to calm down.
If that feels too much because you feel so disconnected from each other (or yourself), just sit in front of each other, take a few deep breaths together, relax your bellies and look into each other’s eyes.
If any discomfort arises, take another deep breath
No words are needed, let your bodies speak. Trust the intelligence of the body, it truly knows best!
